Welcome Golden Gate Restaurant Association!
The Individual Mandate portion of the Affordable Care Act states that in 2014 all of your employees will be legally required to have health insurance, even if their employer does not provide a health insurance plan at work. This means that employees will need to buy health insurance individually and use California’s government sponsored marketplace, Covered CA, to apply for subsidies that will make health insurance affordable to them.
The Golden Gate Restaurant Association has partnered with Filice Insurance and EindividualHealth to help its member restaurants and their employees comply with the legal requirements of the Affordable Care Act.
This is your resource to help your employees understand the Affordable Care Act (also known as Obamacare) and use California’s Marketplace, Covered CA.
